User Defined Filters

I did play with the samples in the lesson and it was interesting to see all the presets that are already there, but I must confess I'd much rather use the regular filters in PSP and those that I download. However, I did also play with the Randomizer.

Emboss

On the below picture, I first used the preset "Deep Emboss", then I increased the bias to 150 and marked the Color Channels instead of the grey.

Photo / Image Enhancements

We used Adjust/ Hue and Saturation/ Hue Map to change the hue of a red Chinese tree. This is my example:

Curves and Photos

Used Adjust/ Brightness-Contrast/Curves to lighten a photo.
Once I had done it with the setting seen in the screen shot, I didn't think it needed further adjustments in the separate color channels. The photo looks good to my eyes.
